Club H Fitness Kids Program

Beginning in the Spring 2009, Club H Fitness will launch a brand new kids program.
These classes will be between the hours of 3-5 pm weekdays and on weekend afternoons. 
Brief descriptions of our offerings are listed below:

Creative Movement

Awaken a sense of imagination and self-expression through movement.  This class will give children a chance to experience their imaginative side.  Listening, musicality and focus will be highlighted.  Various props and music will be integrated.  The tiny tot’s class will include jumps, freeze dance and ballerina walks. Older children will transition from free movement to learn ballet barre and ballet terminology.

Fit2Flow

F2F is an exercise program design to help your child reconnect his or her "Flow". The program will improve your child's well being and improve his or her "kinetic intelligence". The central philosophy of F2F is if your child plays better, your child will learn how to become better in other areas like school, home, and society. Coach Tran will share the esoteric and modern health and fitness systems that he learned directly from the "masters of sport" to your child. F2F is a unique experience unlike any program available in the country. Help your child to be Fit to Flow. 

Martial Arts

This is our kids Lil’ Warriors program.  The program is designed to build your child’s confidence through discipline and self-defense in a fun, safe and effective manner. By teaching your child the basic skills with an uplifted “spirit”, he/she will stand up for what they believe. Other benefits include physical conditioning, stress reduction and better sleep.

Road Warriors

A safe, fun performance oriented class led by our strength and conditioning coaches. This class with help kids develops both a physical and mental foundation based on individual and team based drills and movements.  As we progress into the class, the kids will be broken into teams creating a sense of competition, in a creative way.  Class will conclude with some calming stretching and breathing to center.

Yoga

Classes will include a mixture of games, stories, props and asanas.  Some of the benefits of yoga are better focus, increased awareness and greater self-esteem.  Kids will be encouraged to be creative while exploring new ways of moving.  A non-competitive environment will be nurtured.  Sanskrit names are introduced to the older kids.
